Family Division: Teams of 4 players (2 adults and 2 children)
Parent-Child Division: Teams of 2 players (1 adult and 1 child)
Join us for a fun community event, bringing Subiaco families together for an evening of healthy competition and socialising. You don't have to be a star tennis player - anyone can join in to enjoy some tennis, along with food and drinks on our veranda, or just come down to socialise and support your friends/family.
All players must be related to the other players in their team and live within the City of Subiaco (6008 postcode). Adults may be parents, guardians, grandparents, aunts or uncles of the children, and any combination of male/female is allowed.
Children should be aged 8 to 16 years as the matches will be played with yellow balls on full sized courts.
In the Family Division, players will play matches as an adult/child pair, eg. mum with son or dad with daughter, but not mum and dad playing together.
Matches will be played from 4.30pm to around 7pm, followed by a break with a healthy light dinner provided, and the finals of each division under lights.
The draw and match formats will be decided by the tournament supervisor depending on number of entries, to ensure that everyone gets plenty of tennis.
Matches will likely be Fast4 sets and each pair will play several matches. Matches may be on grass or hard courts.
This is a friendly tournament so matches will not be officiated, but Tennis Factory coaches will supervise the event.
Prizes will be awarded to the champion and runner-up teams in each division (subject to a minimum number of entries).
